This was my first book, and in it I try to provide a high-level overview of the Operator Framework development pattern for Kubernetes. The book is written as a holistic walkthrough of the full lifecycle of an Operator, from initial problem identification (i.e., early design of an Operator) to deprecation.
I drew off of lessons I had learned from writing and maintaining Operators to suggest development patterns and design considerations that help make Operator projects successful. This book is for anyone who is familiar with Kubernetes, but curious about automating their own cluster or application management through developing their own Operator.
